Open to a Juicy Life

If a woman attempts to be a part of an organization, association, or family that neglects to peer into her to see what she is made of, one that fails to ask "What makes this person run?" and one that does not put forth effort to challenge or encourage her in any positive manner ... then her ability to thrive and create is diminished. ... Then a woman's life is overcome by
pallor, for she is a starved soul. There is something about famine that causes judgment to be blighted. ...she begins a rampage of -- you name it -- alcohol, anger, promiscuity...

***It's better to get up, stand up, no matter how homemade your platform, and live the most you can, the best you can, and forgo the sneaking of counterfeits. Hold out for what has real meaning and health for you...***
~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes (Women Who Run with the Wolves)

Oh, I love this author! She transformed my life several years ago and I still find her work a great treasure! She talks about women yet it is true for all of us. Be yourself and don't let anything or anyone diminish your unique and beautiful soul!
